Rolling in hot off the heels of the latest generation Bronson (MX mixed wheelsize) that ‘Cruz unleashed last month, today the brand is going live with the all new Bronson 29 Hightower!
See what we did there? The new Hightown appears to share many of the key numbers and frame features that we saw debuted in the new Bronson, including an increase in travel now sitting with 160mm up front and 150mm in the rear, and a re-configured VPP suspension layout which sees the rear shock sitting lower and further forward in the frame in order to promote less anti-squat and in turn enhancing the bikes ability to grip in and pedal over objects. Albeit, the Hightown is of course staying true to its DNA and is exclusively a 29’er front and rear. Does that mean the bike is going to roll really, really, really fast and efficiently? Um, yep!
Our buddies over at Santa Cruz have told us that stock of the new ‘Gen 4 Hightower, as well as the new Bronson, will be landing in dealers across Aus very shortly.
What’s more, we have just gotten our little mittens on a Hightower to test ride so keep an eye out for plenty of upcoming Hightower and Bronson coverage from [R]!
