Fabio Wibmer gets his snow skills on in a huge way!

With the weather getting colder, the high country is beginning to get it’s first dustings of white stuff. So what better to do than go shred it, Fabio Wibmer style…

This dude has elevated himself into the mountain bike elite with a string of viral videos and MTB downhill prowess since he became a permanent member of the Drop and Roll Tour with global star Danny MacAskill in 2014.

The Austrian has stayed in his own country for his latest edit, bombing the piste, launching some sizeable booters and evading the ski police in the Saalbach-Hinterglemm resort.

Don’t for a minute think this is a 1-day shoot. Fabio spent 24 days filming this epic Alps video, by far his biggest project to date and one that has seen his skills upped so far it’s not funny.

Double backies anyone? And while you, like us wonder ‘just where did this dude come from?’ his list of credentials is pretty damn long.

He’s a longtime downhill racer with the 2016 Austrian national championship and two Innsbruck Downhill Cup titles to his name. After joining MacAskill’s Drop and Roll Tour, Fabio won the ‘GoPro of the World – Best Line Contest’ in 2015 as well as a German Web Video Award.

He followed up in 2016 with viral YouTube hits of riding a line on the thin railing over a 200m high dam and showing off his downhill ability on an old lady’s bike.

With over 1 million subscribers and over 125 million video views in his YouTube channel, he’s doing alright! Watch the wild descent below…
