With only two weeks to go now before the UCI World Cup returns to your screens, Red Bull have begun the hype game by sending the voice of mountain biking racing that we know and love, Rob Warner, to meet some of the scene’s most interesting stars.
So where to first then? Well, there wouldn’t be many riders better to kick things off with than Bernard Kerr. The UK rider won the daunting Red Bull Hardline event in 2016 and is the team manager of Pivot Factory Racing Team when not shredding the rubber off his tires with a style that’s becoming a signature. Rob asks the hard hitting questions, like can you really train for the rigours of the world’s most brutal DH tracks by dirt jumping on a Wednesday night? Is Guildford in the relatively flat south-east of England the perfect place to ride? Bernard seems to think so.
