[R]evolution Issue 58
We’re back! [R]evolution Magazine had to hit the ‘pause button’ for nearly 5 months throughout the height of lock-down but the mag is finally back in action.
One of the things that we’re most excited about is to show you our brand-new editorial design style of the mag; cleaner layouts, amazing imagery, easier to read articles, easier to enjoy!
To honour the relaunch of the mag we have absolutely jam packed this edition of the mag with the best articles we’ve ever created.
It all starts with Jack Moir’s first ever [R] cover (seriously, what an amazing shot!). Then inside we’re delivering the interview so many of you have been asking for; ‘Fatherhood’ a candid chat with the Champ Sam Hill all about being a Dad and raising his three awesome boys whilst staying at the very top of the MTB game. Whilst the world was in lock-down we asked 7 of our favourite photographers to pick their three absolute favourite shots from their career to date (it’s an incredible feature which can’t be missed!) The goodness then continues with a ‘wheelie’ masterclass featuring the king of wheelies Wyn Masters, including how to do a ‘no handed wheelie!’ We then ask the question; would it be possible for a ‘regular Joe’ to train like Troy Brosnan and become a World Cup rider? P
lus we’ve put together our ultimate enduro knee pad buyers guide, and we trail test SRAM’s AXS wireless drivetrain and the brand new SRAM GX groupset. This edition’s Tech Zone looks at prioritising component upgrades in rank of performance benefits. We’ve also got 3 in-depth bike reviews; Transition ‘Scout’, NS Bikes ‘Define 150’, as well as the big GT Fury 29”. All of that content plus the latest news and releases from across the MTB scene as well as your favourite regular features, guest columns and galleries. Then inside the new edition of [E]volution you’ll get a healthy dose of the latest e-Bike action and news, plus 3 insightful ‘Pro Bike Checks’, and an awesome journey throughout Wellington NZ featuring a pair of SantaCruz ‘Hecklers’ doing amazing things.
Oh and just one other quick update – to make up for the big gap between this edition and last we will be speeding up the production schedule of the mag for the remainder of the year – releasing a new copy of the mag every 2 months (rather than our standard 3 month gap) which means you’ll still be getting 4 big thick copies of [R]+[E] mag in 2020. Thank you for your patience and understanding throughout these crazy times.
We are so stoked to be back in your hands and we can’t wait for you to check out the new mag!
