We spotted something particularly cool over in the pits at this year’s Crankworx Rotorua… It would appear that Kiwi brand Zerode (once famed for their small batch handmade carbon fibre, high pivot, gear box equipped bikes) is set to put themselves back on the map with a new enduro style bike called Taniwha – which sticks with the company’s preference for gearbox equipped bikes (take a close look around the bottom bracket). The actual bike pictured here is a production sample however we believe that the ‘green light’ has been given and that a full production run is now underway.
