Fox launches the fastest wireless dropper post on the market – the new Transfer Neo

FOX has pushed the innovation of dropper posts for well over a decade. The most recent iteration of their Transfer dropper featured longer drop, improved durability, and more features than ever before. So, what was next? Longer drop. Lower stack height. Greater tire clearance. Faster actuation. A natural lever feel. They achieved all of that, not only with a ground-up external design, but with the fastest wireless connectivity in cycling.

This is Transfer Neo. To make Transfer Neo’s actuation feel instantaneous, Fox needed a signal to reach the dropper at a speed faster than any wireless protocol that was available.  So, they made their own – Neo. Like a Formula 1 race car, Neo has all the non-essential functions of its wireless protocol stripped away in favour of speed. How fast? Over 100x faster than Bluetooth and 20x faster than their closest competitor.

What does that mean on the bike? Virtually zero latency between actuating your dropper lever and your post moving to exactly where it needs to be. Every element of the Transfer Neo has been meticulously designed, tested, and refined through FOX’s Racing Applications and Development (RAD) program.

Key engineering highlights include:

  • External design providing best-in-class stack height
  • Strategic battery and motor placement for increased tire clearance
  • Ergonomic lever design for a natural feel
  • Ultra-low latency for precise saddle height adjustments
Coupled with the 2025 Transfer’s incredibly robust internal sealing and proven durability, Transfer Neo truly rises above.

Transfer Neo Seatpost features:

  • Transfer Neo is the fastest actuating wireless dropper on the market. Its ultra-low latency makes micro adjusting your seat height to suit varying terrain super precise.
  • Transfer Neo is notably shorter in terms of stack height than the competion, 47mm from bottom of the controller to center of saddle rails, an 18mm improvement over other wireless droppers. It also comes in a 200mm max drop option, giving riders more drop relative to their height to help conquer steep tracks and chutes.
  • Transfer Neo’s battery placement provides maximum tire clearance – absolutely no worries about hitting the battery under full compression mid-ride.
  • Transfer Neo has a Schrader valve on the top of the post, making for easy pressure adjustments to suit terrain or rider preference, or to compensate for pressure loss over time.
  • Transfer Neo has the same sleek new head design as the new Transfer, providing ultra-low stack and bullet-proof 2-bolt security and infinite angle adjustment.
  • Transfer Neo comes in a dedicated 34.9mm diameter option. Both the upper and lower post are optimized. This results in a lighter post with less friction as compared to other 34.9 posts that use the 31.6mm upper tube with a thicker lower tube.
  • The app tracks cycles and notifies you when it’s time to service your post. This is much more accurate than trying to keep track of hours.

Transfer Neo FAQ:

How fast is Neo?

26 milliseconds from lever press to post movement.

Battery life?

30 to 40-hour main battery life depending on frequency of dropper post actuation. The CR2032 in the lever will have approximately 12 months of regular use. Charge time for the Neo battery is approximately 1.25 hr to 1.5 hr using included dock and USB-A to USB-C cable.

Sizing options?

Transfer Neo is available in 100mm, 125mm, 150mm, 175mm and 200mm drop options in 30.9mm, 31.6mm, with  125mm, 150mm, 175mm and 200mm options in 34.9mm

Power management?

Transfer Neo system turns on automatically when the bike moves using the Shake-to-Wake function, and sleeps after five minutes of inactivity. No need for a power button.

Service intervals?

The dust wiper can be easily removed for re-greasing, keeping the post running smooth between service intervals. The FOX Bike app will track your Transfer Neo activations and at 8000 activations you should have it serviced at a FOX Bike service center.
