The Audi Nines 2019 MTB was something straight up amazing. A week of uninhibited Mountain Bike action in the moonscape of a quarry with no shortage of epic lines and even bigger kickers. Thousands gathered to watch the assembled riders throw down and close out the Audi Nines’ “Return to the Quarry” in style.
The monumental “Perfect Hip” proved to be the signature feature of this year’s Audi Nines… and one question loomed throughout the week: who would go the biggest on this beast? After many spectacular airs, bone-jarring crashes and sweaty palms, Tom Isted emerged as the week’s Highest Air champion, soaring a massive 7.1 meters off the deck.
