Round four of the EWS returned to County Wicklow in Ireland to revisit the Emerald Enduro. It’s the third time the EWS has taken place on Carrick Mountain, which is quickly gaining a reputation as one of the wildest races on the circuit thanks to the crazy fans who line the tracks in their thousands.
Sam Hill is certainly a favourite amongst the crowd! He won one stage today and was second to Dailly on quite a few others. In the end he finished up 2nd only 6 seconds back
This time they saw the legend that is Sam Hill, stamp his presence on the trails with a solid second place bumping him into second place in the overall standings. Not bad for a DH’er on flat pedals…. Jesse Melamed is always such an entertaining rider to watch and he attacked the rocks “like they were dry” winner of the final stage and 4th overall.
