After winning Fort William and Les Gets, Amaury Pierron carried his form into another World Cup victory in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, and he’s back in the hunt for the World Cup overall.
The COMMENCAL/VALLNORD By Riding Addiction crew have dropped a solid webisode for our viewing pleasure with more than a few insights into the racing and we’ll leave it to them to fill you in before you hit play!
We could tell that he wasn’t happy about his 4th place performance in Val di Sole (Italy) the week before and we knew he still had a lot to show going forward…and we weren’t wrong! Amaury Pierron – 1st
“Honestly, I struggled for the first practice runs, I couldn’t find the right lines and pace. I crashed quite hard on the first day but our osteopath, Brieuc, saved me once again (laughs). We worked hard with the team, Gaëtan my mechanic and Arthur the COMMENCAL engineer, to find the perfect settings. My bike and myself were feeling better for qualies and I knew it was possible to do the challenge again. I pushed so hard and thankfully it was enough! I’m so happy to take another win and it’s good to know I can still chase the World Cup overall! The last round is going to be crazy!”
