A little history lesson for your Monday night viewing. Back in the 90’s, Missy ‘the Missile” Giove was making sure MTB had attitude, both on and off the bike. Known for her personality and style as much as she was for her riding. Her wild hair, dried pet piranha ‘Gonzo’ on a necklace, wild attitude, outspoken attitude and flat out speed made her a favourite for so many to this day. Can still picture her riding into the pits in Cairns at the World Champs back then, ghosting her bike into towards her mechanics and blowing up about brakes not working, before laughing and kicking back. With so many titles to her name at US and International level, she’s one of the greats of MTB. Definite legend. Great to see her back in the scene. Watch and learn!
