Old School x New School: Tom Ritchey

Building bikes is a process that so few of us know to much about. While we may profess to know the current state of geometry and materials, the nitty gritty of building a frame to handle the mountains is something else. Rewind to the early days of MTB itself and you’ll find a name that has stood the test of time and influenced much of what we ride today. That name is Tom Ritchey. This 13 minute video goes deep, and brings together a legend of MTB frame building with those learning their craft at The Bicycle Academy in England. A collaboration between the legends of the framebuilding world and the new wave of framebuilders creating the future of bicycle making.
